Turtle Cookie Bars😍

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

In a bowl, combine flour, melted butter, and brown sugar until a dough forms. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Sprinkle pecan halves evenly over the crust.

Drizzle caramel sauce over the pecans, making sure to cover them evenly.

Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot caramel layer.

Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the chocolate chips have softened.

Using a spatula, gently spread the melted chocolate over the entire surface. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before lifting out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into bars and serve.
