These Apple Pie Jars Are Simply Cuteness Overload

We were going to be having a book club meeting at my house. That meant that it was going to be my turn to make the snacks. I wanted to do something fun, different, and delicious. The cookies, brownies, and dips had been played out since we started this book club around four years ago. Each month someone brings something different, but after a while it all starts to be the same. So, I was going to be the one to set the bar up a bit from here on out. When I found this recipe for cute little apple pies in jars on Cravings Of A Lunatic, I knew it was going to be a game changer. I am not going to lie, I was a little nervous about how difficult these were going to be. I mean, one pie is hard enough, but 12 little ones?

I gave it a go anyways, and much to my delight, this was much easier than what I had expected originally. I had these whipped up and ready to go well before all the ladies arrived at the house. I was so proud to have them all neatly sitting out, just looking so cute.

The women didn’t even sit down to chat like we usually do. They all just went straight for the dessert table and grabbed one of these. Before they even tasted them, they were in love with the way they looked. The flavor is just an added bonus.

These are so fun to make and hand out as gifts too. I like to give them out at school when my kids are finishing up the year and the teachers deserve a little snack. I also make and take them to work a lot. You could take them to a party or social event, just make sure you plan to make one for every single person that ‘s going to be there, because I can tell you right now, they are all going to want one! I would probably eat two if there were every any leftover, but as far as things have gone so far, that’s not happening. Make sure you use strong jars so you don’t have any accidents in the oven. Enjoy!
