Keto Pretzel Bites with Cheese Sauce

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the cheeses are melted and well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour and baking powder.
Add the almond flour mixture and eggs to the melted cheese mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Place the balls of dough on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, beat the remaining egg. Brush the tops of the dough balls with the beaten egg.
Sprinkle the coarse salt or pretzel salt over the tops of the dough balls.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the pretzel bites are golden brown and cooked through.
While the pretzel bites are baking, prepare the cheese sauce. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Remove the pretzel bites from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving with the cheese sauce.
