Delicious onion and cheese bread with ham

In a large bowl, put the wheat flour. Crumble the fresh yeast into a cup and add the salt. Mix until the yeast is completely dissolved (the salt helps activate the yeast, so no need to add water). Add the mineral water at room temperature, grated cheddar, ham cubes and fried onion to the flour. Knead all the ingredients until you obtain a soft dough that comes away from the edges of the bowl, possibly adding flour or mineral water.
Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rest in a warm place for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C (high/low).After resting, remove the cloth and lightly knead the dough on a floured surface. Form a round loaf and place it on a previously greased baking sheet. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a rack before serving.
