Creamy cucumber salad

In a bowl, mix the sliced cucumber, the sweet onion and the sea salt. Covering bowl with cling film & leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Then, transfer the mixture to a colander placed over a bowl or sink. Let dry for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid is removed. Once drained, transfer the cucumber mixture to a large bowl.
In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, dill, garlic powder and black pepper with a whisk until well blended. Pour this dressing over the cucumber mixture, making sure all the vegetables are well coated.
Cover the salad with cling film and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
