half a cup ground sugar

Halved cup brown sugar

One fourth cup finely chopped pecans

One half cup rather hot water

Making Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler: Techniques

Set oven temperature to 350 degrees.

Stir together in a medium-sized bowl flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and spices. Save for.

Combine in a separate bowl pumpkin, milk, melted butter and vanilla together. To make a thick batter, combine wet components into dry ones. Load into a small 8-inch casserole dish with high edges.

Stir sugar, brown sugar, and ppecans together in another basin. Evenly distribute over the top of the batter. Pour boiling water over the whole thing {WITHOUT STIRRING A THING!} then bake for forty minutes or after the center is set. {Be careful to set on a baking sheet should it bubble over.} Chill five to ten minutes before eating. Present with vanilla ice cream and extra pecans.
