5-10 fresh bay leaves
1 whole lemon
1 cup of water
Honey (to taste)
Preparation:Rinse the bay leaves and place them in a small saucepan.
Slice the lemon and add it to the pan, along with the cup of water.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the water is reduced by half.
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
Strain the liquid into a clean jar, squeezing the lemons to extract all the juice.
Add honey to the strained liquid while it’s still warm. Stir until the honey is dissolved. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
